Investor in Oak Park, IL
Hi everyone,
I just got a property under contract in Oak Park, IL, a suburb in the Chicago area. I was hoping someone could tell me what to expect when it comes to permits or village requirements. Some suburbs have very strict village code requirements and I just want to be prepared before I close on the property.

I'm not familiar with Oak Park but you should be able to look up all that information, as far as permits and fees, and what you do and don't need a permit for right on the village/city of Oak Park website. Usually in the "development" or "public works" section.
