Investing with Family

Hi all!

Recently my brother has approached me about investing together.  His goals and mine are completely different.  I want to buy for cash flow so I can quit my day job in three to five years.  He wants to buy and hold and bank his returns to prepare for his retirement (17 years).

Any thoughts on the best way to bridge both philosophies in the same partnership?
