Owner Percentage
I was wondering if anyone could give an example of how they divide the profits when 3 people are involved.
I have a 50/50 business with my partner, and we are about to buy a commercial property. My partner has no money to contribute to the purchase of the property, so we need outside financing from 3rd investor. Our company will be doing the maintenance and management of the property.
What is a fair percentage breakdown for everyone?
Recap:
1) I will be providing 50% of the down payment and my company with be managing the property.
2) My partner will just be managing the property with our company.
3) 3rd investor will be providing 50% of down payment.
Also the loan will be in our company name for partner 1 & 2.
Any advice or examples of an agreement between the 3 of us would help, thanks.
