How do I make offers?

I am a newbie investor and I have read that you need to make numerous offers to get deals.  I have heard some making 50-100 offers/week.  That blows my mind.  How can one physically make that many offers?  Or are they just verbal offers?

I don't want to have to use an attorney just to make a contract offer.  I plan on making offers directly to owners or the selling agent.

Also, is there a place on bigger pockets that has a good sample R.E. contract to use to make offers?  I imagine that once you have a good contract in place, that you'd just need to change the numbers and the address for each separate offer.
