Shady Realtor

I was wandering through the MLS when I came upon what seemed a decent property to flip. As I gathered more information, I came across the following review on the realtor associated with the property:

"Stay away from Wade wilcock. He just made a fake offer on my home only to negotiate a lower offer from another property using my offer. He tried to push a due diligence deadline to the closing date on his offer and then said he made a mistake and they went ahead with another property. Don't let him show your home or trust him with any type of real estate purchase. He's willing to place fake bids to drive down the market, he's not trustworthy on any level. Check out his past history on utah right to know website you might be surprised what you find, possession and dui charges."

So . . . is it worth the trouble trying to work with a guy who may/may not try to screw me over? Or should I continue my search and steer clear of any funny business?

Thank you for your feedback.

Hi @Kaiden Jones,

Disclaimer: I know nothing about this situation with the exception of the couple lines written above so I am spitting out random words.

Suppose you had an agent who worked for you finding properties. There was one on 123 Main street, the price was higher than you wanted to pay. Your agent saw a FSBO on 456 Elm street (That was comparable). He went over and negotiated a price for that property. Came back with both and used them against each other to get you the best price. You then decided which one you wanted.

IE: "That price seems high, my client is also looking at 456 Elm and we can get that one for 20K less. It may be the better route for us. Thank you for your time" (Turn and walk)

"Wait...Wait, maybe we can move a little more if you buy this one"

Would he be a "shaddy agent" or "My agents the MAN"!

Just my thoughts and good luck!
