Shared Drive-Ease of pass way.

Hi All,

I am planning to buy a home in Bayonne,NJ.

It has a drive way on right hand side that looks shared, it's neigbouring(R.H.S) property also has a narrow driveway on RHS.

also both properties has backyard together with no physical boundries, also garages in the backyard, I came to know that earlier there was only one owner for both properties

Realtor told me that drive way is not shared, but current owner has allowed neighbour to use driveway for his easyness, and neighbour uses that driveway to put stuff in his garage that he uses as store.

Just wondering how I can find out if driveway is shared or not, or "easyness" is neighbours right or not.

For privacy reasons, if I buy that home I would like to partition it and put a gate on driveway enterance.
