Do I have a case?
House was listed for $37K. I offered $37K. Seller verbally agreed per his agent. His attorney got involved to prepare the Short Sale Addendum. Attorney realized they need $55K for the property to cover what is owed. Attorney says unless we agree on $55K, he must withdraw. I won't agree to $55K. I say since he verbally agreed (per his agent) to the $37K, the purchase price should be $37K.
