Best city to purchase real estate in (for investment purposes)?

in your opinion, what is the best city in the U.S. to purchase real estate in for investment purposes? My husband and I are looking to diversify our investment portfolio by city and would love to hear your thoughts! We prefer the turnkey model and prefer to hold properties for many years. Looking for cities with a stable economy and a good market for rentals.

@Melissa Callegari there's a lot of good investment markets but in my opinion, Kansas City and Indianapolis are two of the best. They are not only highly affordable markets with good rent to price ratio's but also have very strong economic and demographic fundamentals. You can find a lot of info on our website and our podcasts. Below is a comparison of several markets that you might find helpful.
