Best route with 100k?

Hi everyone,

New member here. To make a short story:

Professional age 30, income in six figures,

- disposable income of ~120K a year after taxes, bills and loans

- stay at home wife with child

- looking for stable investments

What is the best route and use of my capital?

I prefer less headache and not too much hands on, although I don't mind self managing or getting my hands dirty. Should I go for SFH buy and hold, MFH buy and hold, or go towards commercial real estate. I know this is a loaded question, but my goal is to be able to be financially independent in 10 years or so without having golden hand cuffs and prefer annual yields that are better than the stock market norm of 7-8% annual.

Thanks for any advice! Please ask me if you need more details to answer the question.
