How much money do I need to start?

I am BRAND new to real estate investing. How much money do I need to start. Are their any strategies that I can begin to learn right now that don't require much of an investment but still offer a decent paycheck?

Yeah but a pile is different in different markets. 10K might go far in some, it might not in others. Same with 20k, 30k, 50k, 100k, etc.

A great idea is to get a look at the market you want to invest in and then evaluate based on what type of investing you are going to do. Analyze some properties for fun, you should be able to figure out what you'll need as far as down payment, fees, repair costs if needed. You'll be able to get a rough idea if you spend some time doing that.
