I've been talking to someone that is a similar situation as we are. They have a newer house (a few years old), that was built on a lot in an established neighborhood. The former house had burned down. The houses in the neighborhood sell for a maximum of $800,000 for around 2400 sq. ft. QUESTION: In trying to comp their house how much more value is given for it being a modern home with higher ceilings, energy efficient, everything newer, etc.? It's in Lake Forest, CA.
