Selling rental property
Hi there!---Well, I think we are going to throw in the towel!---Going to sell the rental home-----For the past 10 years, we have had not one renter who will pay rent or pay on time. Also, it is 120 miles away, and way too hard to keep tabs on things.
So, my question is, what updates could/should we do, to get top dollar for this home. It already has a nice roof, new furnace and water heater. The master bath has been newly tiled. It does not have central air, or an updated kitchen. It does have stainless stove, microwave and dishwasher. But, the cabinets and counter tops are original---1964. The exterior of home is aluminum siding (original) and needs to be power washed and painted. ---Along with some minor landscaping.
Any suggestions from you would be very appreciated!
THANKS!
Cheryl
