Getting tenants/owners out of foreclosed/auctioned homes

Does anyone have any experience or recommendation With this problem.   I am considering making an offer on some occupied properties at auction.   The purchase details state that once the transaction is complete, it will be up to the buyer to remove the occupants.  I am aware of the legal and judicial avenues involving eviction, but these are costly and can drag out leaving hard feelings on both sides.  Is there an alternative option that someone can recommend that has been used with some success?
