Hello. I am very ready to start investing in real estate, but I live in Jackson MS. I have heard that this is not a good city to invest in. Does it matter where I plan to invest? Can I be successful investing in Jackson MS??

I don't agree. I have done over 20 properties in the west/south Jackson areas.

I have friends that own at least 10 properties each that were all rehabbed and are actually in good neighborhoods/blocks. If you can get s great price for a very nice property (in my opinion, $35k or less rehabbed) you have a note of $200-$300 and they all rent out for at least $850, 3 bedrooms +)

Most are scared to even set foot in these areas because of what they see on tv or in the news but those that understand the numbers are constantly looking for more properties to rent in these areas.

Want examples please take a look at before and after pics of SEVERAL homes, duplexes etc that are presently rented out and have been for over 5 years or more with a profit of at least $400-$500 per home.  www.facebook.com/bewconstruction
