@Nicole Graves Yes.  I have purchased foreclosures that way many times.  Both as a buyer and a wholesaler.  It is tough to find a good foreclosure deal in the Richmond market at the moment because there are so many active investors.  Going direct to seller is a much better way to make a deal in the area at this time.  Hope that helps a bit
