Bedrooms and Bathrooms don't match county website; buy and hold
Hello BP, I have a question about additions. I found a property that is listed for $83k as a 3/2, however when I pull it up on the county website it is listed as a 2/1. Upon further investigation it appears the carport was transformed into a master bedroom with a master bath. The house looks great and has a current renter paying $1050/mo. My goal with this property would be to buy and hold.
Question: How do I find out if the additional bedroom and bathroom were permitted? and does it matter if I just plan to purchase it and rent it out for cashflow?
Thank you!
