Buying Nightmare

Hello Bigger Pockets community, I am a first time home buyer and unfortunately I have not had a very smooth experience purchasing my first house. I have had many issues purchasing this property but that is a very long story. I am writing specifically about my current closing situation. Today I had my closing where I paid my down payment and closing costs and signed all necessary paperwork. The issue now is the bank has not transferred the funds to the seller. Since the funds were not transferred I was not given my keys even though I have signed and paid everything I was needed to sign and pay. Has this happened to anyone before and is this legal for them to have taken my money and still not give me the keys to my new house? My main issue with this is that I still have no clue as to when the bank will provide the funds and when I will finally be given the keys to move in.
