20 Year Old College Junior, Finance Degree, Where do I start?
Hello All,
I am currently an undergraduate at Stonehill College perusing a finance degree and I wanted to ask some people with experience where to start in this business. I have aspirations to be very successful. Last summer I worked between 100 and 110 hours a week with 4 different jobs so when I hear that people "have to" work 60 hours a week when you first start off in order to be successful, I know I have what it takes. I have taken a number of economics and finance classes and excelled in all of them. I understand how markets work and the basic accounting principles of real estate too.
I am asking for any advice that anyone may have on this matter. Where do I begin?
Should I work on getting my real estate license in Massachusetts?
Should I try to participate in a summer internship?
Should I try to jump into the real estate business now? Is that possible while finishing up my degree?
Thank you to anyone that can lend advice,
Howell Conant
