Squatter or owner
I went to look at a house this weekend. The house was supposed to be vacant, but there were people living there. The daughter said her mother bought the house from an investor. She said he paid the back taxes therefore making him the owner and then sold it to her. I called downtown and the title hasn't changed and only 2015 taxes were paid. 2013 and 2014 are still due.
Im thinking I'd have to evict them and the lady would be out of her money.
Anybody have any advice.
