How to connect with institutional buyers?

So I wanted to ask the community (primarily agents and wholesalers) - What kind of marketing and/or networking have you used to find institutional investors?

I have a nice buyers list set up of people who want 2-3 properties to rehab a year, but what I really need is connections to MAJOR buyer like hedge funds, owners of 100+ rentals, real estate corporations, etc.

I'd love to hear from people who've connected with buyer like these in their area. Any feedback would be much appreciated!
