Trying to read a title report...
I'm researching a home that is up for auction at the county courthouse next week. I ordered a title report, but I'm confused by a lien. It looks like there was an original mortgage lien and an HOA lien. The mortgage was modified 8 years later, but it looks like a second mortgage (lien) was added from HUD at the same time as the modification.
Has anyone else seen this before? Will the foreclose at auction clear this lien? Please advise, I don't want to fall into a trap. There is also an HOA lien, does this get cleared?
I appreciate any help.
