I see many on BP make some pretty poor investment decisions seeking passive REI income. Sometimes these poor choices are promoted by BP sellers looking to make a buck selling what amounts to very risky investments with little or no upside. The actual investment risks and facts are not disclosed. The risks usually are masked with phony numbers and 1000s of miles of distance that only a non local newbie could fall for. That is where BP comes in... with the endless supply of total newbies ready to buy such poor investments. Hey, some of this REI stuff is virtually unregulated.  What else would anyone really expect in such an unregulated investment atmosphere?

The good news is there are some great actual passive REI alternatives out there. If you like to learn more check out this latest article by Zacks. I will mention one advantage that some might not see up front, the commission to buy and sell is $10 and that is just the beginning of it. Keep in mind actual passive investments, don't pay insurance, property taxes, repairs, maintenance, evictions, management etc.

All REI is considered risky!

Good luck with all your passive REI!
