Looking for a home for my brother and his boys in CO Springs.  One that is a fixer upper would be perfect.  Where do I start?

Hi Tonya. To state the obvious, Craigslist, Backpage, eBay classifieds and similar sites are a great place to find fixer-uppers and the like. Searching for terms such as fixer-upper, handyman, tlc and similar keywords usually return desired results. Notice to the right of the search bar there is a "save search" link?

Click that link to save the search and either login to or setup a free account. From there, click edit to manage notifications:

This will redirect to yet another screen, from which email notifications can be turned on or off.

Obtaining the foreclosure list usually requires a subscription to sites such as RENAV.com Realtytrac.com, foreclosures.com... Another way is to engage the services of a foreclosure savvy REALTOR ;) who often gets these lists from their vendor contacts on a regular basis.

Obviously unaware of any experience you or he may have along these lines, I'd be remiss to not state the importance of using the services of an experienced buyer agent if, for no other reason, to protect and represent your brother's best interests.

All the best!
