Tax value vs purchase price
Hi BP,
I am new to investing and I am looking to purchase my first rental property. I have found one that I am interested in, but I noticed that the tax value on the house was double the purchase price. It has also been on the market for a long time. Is there anything that would be concerning in this type of situation? I can't seem to find any answers for this.
