Kitsap Rental Deals
Hi everyone,
I have been looking on the MLS for a few months now in the Kitsap County (mostly Bremerton and Silverdale) and wondering what type of deals everyone gets around here. I'm interested in buy and holds and also wouldn't mind living in a unit of a multifamily either.
I'm just wanting to get some information from anyone around Bremerton, Silverdale, Poulsbo.
- I am only seeing few above a 1% and its just barely meets the 1% if it does, anyone else?
- And how easily they are able to fill these rentals?
- How does everyone figure out how much rent will be in these properties? I've been looking at craigslist on the map and Zillow.
Thanks for your help and I hope this helps others as well!

Hi Jacob, I have quite a few rentals in Bremerton and continue to buy more. Good rental deals are getting harder to find on the MLS, but you can still find them, especially if you're willing to buy something that needs work. Almost all of the deals I get are off-market though, you'll have a better chance of getting solid 1%+ that way.
The rental market in Bremerton continues to be hot. Vacancy rates under 3%, and rents are rising. The best way I've found to price my rentals when they become available is to look at sites like Zillow/Craigslist as you've mentioned. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.
