Should I purchase property through a LLC or Personal Loan?

My Brother In Law and I are running through the preliminary numbers, questions, and research to develop a plan for purchasing and renting out investment properties. There has been some discussion as to purchasing properties under an LLC or personal financing plan. Does anyone have any suggestions and or comments related to this? What are the Pro's and Con's to each? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. -Kyle Sturman
