FHA 2nd Home Appraisal???

Hey guys,

I'm new on this site and I'm so happy to be.

Does anyone of you (investors )DID DO home appraisal "upfront" before putting newly renovated house in the market? Or do you guys think it just a waste of money?

If incase I did and it came out higher than asking can we put it in the listing saying "appraise higher value"?

And since FHA require 2nd appraisal (if buyer is FHA) Does anyone of you know if can they CAN used this value since I already have one?

Thank you guys so much in advance.  Looking forward to hearing all your thoughts.
