failed inspection report

I need advice on what to do about reporting a home that is for sale in Sammamish that had an inspection report that concluded there was property damage due to improper construction. This occurred when the home was  originally built. I don't want to see a buyer become a victim of buying a home that has this kind of issue. The inspection was done from a company in Bellevue with an impeccable reputation. They used infrared cameras to detect this information. Should I post the report and information on Zillow?

is your motive really as a Good Samaritan?

I'm not questioning your ethics or character, however why would you interfere in other people's business?

Posting negative information about a specific matter in a public place could be construed as slanderous and while the info could be accurate, exposes you to the wrath of an angry seller, contractor or brokerage.

In short, unless you have a personal interest in the matter there is no upside for you and untold downside as a snitch.

When in doubt, don't.
