Buying in San Diego

Hi, I'm in the market for a 2 bed 2 bath unit in Oceanside, CA in San Diego county.  My budget is $185-$225.  I've been outbid for properties here because inventory is low in the area which is driving prices up even on bank owned properties.  How can I go about getting a place below market value?

Thanks,

Scott

Hey @Scott B.

You are exactly right about the overall price point being driven up as a result of the low inventory, but that certainly doesn't mean you can't find a deal as long as you know where and how to look.

There are a few different ways I go about finding properties below market here in San Diego.  I by no means think I've reinvented the wheel or anything, but I have definitely worked to refine the strategies over time so they cater to our particular market.

Feel free to shoot me a PM if you want to chat about what it is that I do in greater detail.
