LLC Help in Minnesota and surrounding states

Hi, a colleague and I are just getting started in REI and are looking to create an LLC. Our properties will likely be located in Minnesota and the surrounding 5 state area--Wisconsin, North and South Dakota and possibly Iowa. Would anyone have advice on how to go about doing setting one up and possibly a referral of an attorney to help?
