Buyer's mortgage company request for seller's settlement stmt
Hi Biggerpockets community,
Can anyone help me with the below issue?
I was recently requested by the buyer's mortgage company to provide the settlement statement (when I originally purchased the property about 95 days ago). I'm uncertain why this information is needed.
Is this a normal practice? Is there some justification for such a request?
I don't want to delay the closing process but I would rather not share my purchase price.
