What happens when an FHA appraiser/inspector wants repairs done?

Hello!

I am currently trying to buy a property with an FHA loan. We were wondering if there were a need for any repairs, do they need to come back out? Would this be an additional charge? Or do some allow photo evidence and take your word for it? For instance, we have an aquaponics with manmade ponds spanning 4x8 feet. It's a project that we took on to grow our own food. I guess it's unconventional, but we don't know if this sort of thing, since we do many garden projects, will affect our appraisal and inspection.

Appreciate any insight!
