(Double Assignment) Assignment Of Assignment Of Contract ?

Has anyone dealt with this before?

So I was interested in the 3 family rental property. I told the wholesaler lets do the deal, send me the contract. Come to find out, it was a Double Assignment transaction. Lets just say it was a mess... never closed on it.... Craziness...

I friend of mine, told me about a (Triple Assignment). He ending up getting out the deal also.

Anyone?

Sounds like you probably learned a lot though. Heck go for the hard ones right? Worst case scenario is they don't come together. 

I'm interested to see what others say.
