opinion Investing in another real estate agent? REALTOR

im a realtor. i recently joined a partnership with one of the top agents in my state.  i make phone calls for him in the morning and get paid a small commission on the appointments that i make for him.  

i get a lot of training and experience from him so it works out welll for me since i am a somewhat new agent.

i was thinking about proposing 1-3 thousand dollar investment into the company and/or hoping he would match me on the deal, and in return i get paid more from the deals we close.

My thoughts : i think it would work, because he is real good at closing deals + i can get experience.  I would get paid more in commission from him
