Flipping in Waikoloa
I am currently looking for a house to buy/renovate/sell on the Big Island, specifically at the moment in the Waikoloa area. I've owned one condo in Kona but otherwise have no Hawaii real estate experience. Does anyone have any experience flipping in this area or on the Big Island in general? Main questions I have would be:
-What is the market currently like in this neighborhood? Are people buying?
-How important is it to get permits for partial remodel (new drywall, windows, doors etc.)?
-If the house has a septic are there any potential large costs that could come from that?
Of course any other advice is welcome!
