Hi Anita!

There is not necessarily a "best" way just a lot of possible ways, and after trying them all, the one that ends up working ends up being you "best!" Here are some options:

 - Show up to a local Real Estate Investors Association meeting and pick out someone who says something you think is smart. Ask them if they know any investors. Be sure to try and be helpful to them and what they're looking for as well.

 - Attend an auction at the courthouse steps. Again, if someone impresses you and looks like they know what they're doing, engage them in conversation and then eventually ask if they are or know any investors. Be ready to talk about what you're looking to invest in.

- Go on the local forums here on Bigger Pockets and find someone in the Georgia area who is active. Private Message them and ask if they know anyone currently investing in your area.

Essentially, finding investors is relationship building. Ask a lot of people who is investing and then ask those investors what is their criteria for doing a deal.

Remember, when you do any of these things it will be important to have some knowledge on what you're investing in. Perhaps a type of property you're looking into, why that is going to be the most advantageous in your situation, and the kind of return they might get and the turn around time to get their money back.

Great question! You're starting in the right place. Did that at least give you a couple of places to get started?

Good luck!
