Real Estate investing and the revitalization of Newburgh New york

Hi

I'm looking for other members experiences and thoughts  and Advice

on real estate investing in Newburgh NY.

I'm looking into buying a multi family unit in Newburgh....the numbers make sense...but I have some reservations due to the high crime rate.

I have heard of a supposed "revitalization of Newburgh",,,so this gives me hope...it once was voted the best place to live in New York in the 50's and has beautiful Victorian architecture. I've also heard there ahs been an influx of Brooklynites

I know that there are good and bad areas in Newburgh...are there any particular areas that are a complete no go?
