Open Estate until May 2016. Can I close before then????

Hello BP Fam 

I had a question for those who have handled estate properties. If given the situation where there is an open estate of a deceased persons property.  In which the relative of the deceased has been willed the property, and is the Personal Representative of such an estate, can they arrange for the sale of the house under a seller finance situation before  the estate has been closed?
