Ins and Outs of FHA loans

I am current college student and I am looking to move into a duplex once I graduate. I am looking to finance it with an FHA loan. I am aware that I can get a loan for 3.5%. Can anyone give me a little more information about FHA loans? As well as a strategy to put in place once i have secured my first duplex and looking to purchase my second invest property?
