Hi All,

I'm looking to hire a Property Management company that is located out of State.  I'm sure there are a lot of you that have experience with doing this.   Can anyone provide insight in what I should look for in a Prop Mgmt company,  red flags, positive experiences with companies that are in various states?

Since I live in California and invest in Texas, good property management is critical. I have networked extensively to the point of flying to Texas to meet with a slimmed down number of property managers whom I felt would be a good fit. I wanted to meet/speak face to face. This process opened up more Texas markets than I initially planned, so now I have many more investment options.
