Looking for advice for fix&flips in Pittsburgh pa. What are the right areas for condo/town homes flips? What are typical buying costs? How do I go about learning rehab costs?

@Daniel Lupoli There are condos and town-homes all over Pittsburgh for sale that could be flipped (and priced all over, too) but the margins aren't super broad.  I use J Scott's book as a negotiating tool while talking to contractors about their costs.  I also make it very clear that I expect to pay cost for materials.

My advice to you is to fix and flip something that's not a townhouse or a condo, there are so many, all over Allegheny County ... and you'll get a better price on them than you would if you focus only on condos and town-homes.
