I am not sure how I would even search for this, but let me know if this has been discussed elsewhere.

I am new to RE investing, and I wanted to identify the key activities a successful RE investor would focus in on.

What would be the top half-dozen or so activities that a successful RE investor really focuses on? One might be involved in all aspects of the process, but truely successful investors are probably really good at certain key activities, with the reamining activities outsourced to others.
