Environmental Hazard question
Hey BP family
I have a lead that contacted me with a home in Memphis that is labeled as an environmental hazard. The seller seems pretty motivated due to some circumstances we discussed and says that the home is listed this way because someone broke into the vacant property and stole the toilet and a few other things. I haven't gone myself to view the property yet but I will soon. The seller says that there is no major damage to the home but wanted to be a "straight shooter" and let me know why the house was branded with an environmental hazard tag as not to scare me away from it. Of course the end buyer's inspection would be done still by whomever I close the deal with. My question is.. Do I stay away from something like this?? Have you ever dealt with homes that were branded environmental hazard? Would you take on something like this? Any pitfalls / Any suggestions at all?
Thanks
