Is it worth getting a real estate license one year before I move out of state?
I am new to this site and have been listening to the podcasts for a few weeks and love them!
I am living in Fairfield County in Connecticut and will perhaps move out of state in about a year. I am brand new to real estate investing and my goal is to start flipping my first house with my fiancée this fall. After reading J.Scott's "The Book on Flipping Houses", I was thinking getting a real estate license would help teach me some basics about the industry as well as offer a way to earn some more cash for the flip. Would people who have experience with the process of obtaining a license recommend me spending the time and money getting one now given that I will need to obtain a new one for the state we are perhaps moving to?
Thank you in advance for your feedback!
