Getting started in Real Estate

Okay, I have been doing my research with this website but for those who know. Say there was a house for £250,000 that I wanted. I have no money myself, how would I figure out what costs need to be made and percentages. Renting out the place seems pointless, say you make £600 per month from rent, you got to add tax and bills etc. Then if you borrowed a loan or something in order to buy the house. You could not pay £250,000 back from the rent you get.
