I live in the Dallas, TX area and I was wondering if anyone knew a good source that shows renters vs home owners in specific areas. I'm new to RE investing and I'm trying to scope out different areas to get a good idea of what the potentials are.

@Sunil Kurji

Try www.city-data.com. I use that for a lot of my research on incomes, demographics, owner occupant percentages, etc. You can search by zip code and there are maps that get down into census tract level detail.
