Buying in 64131 KCMO - Indian Heights

Hi everyone,

I'm looking into buying my first property that will for now be a primary residence, and the the near future become a rental property when I look into purchasing a second property.

I'm wondering if anyone has experience buying in the Idian heights area. From driving around the area it seems like a decent part of KCMO, but I know if you get to far east of Troost you start getting into rough areas. Does anyone have an opinion on this neighborhood.
