Buying a Warehouse through FDI

Hello,

I am a citizen of India currently living in UK. We have a family business of hardware manufacturing in India and are now looking to expand our business in USA. Therefore to cater the services and demands of our customers we are planning to buy a warehouse to stock our goods. I already have few states in my mind. Please can you advise me on how to go about this?

If you think this method has too many complications please can you suggest me the alternative routes such as renting warehouses, etc?
