Investing near downtown Buford, GA

Hey everyone,

So last evening my realtor-hubby and I decided to drive by a single-family home that on paper looked okay for rental. It happened to be on Cloud Street close to Buford City Hall. Now I've heard some stories about this area, and meth, and all sorts of other craziness, but seeing it for myself was a completely different story. (insert shocked face here-- I wanted to bolt before the sun set!!). Do I have any fellow BPers who own rentals in this north gwinnett/ north Atlanta suburbs area? I see potential especially since Suwanee is getting pricey and Buford is becoming more popular.
