My wife and I have put in an offer on a house we really like. Waiting for them to get back is worse than waiting for the mail. On an investment I really don't care. It's all about numbers. This is what it makes sense for me to pay. On a personal residence it's hard to keep the emotions (especially my wife's) out of the equation.
